The short version: as little as possible, and we never sell it. The long version is below, and it is still short.
You can read everything on this site without signing up. A session cookie keeps your saved research - shortlisted plans, notes, assessment answers - together between visits. It does not carry your name, and we cannot connect it to you.
We store your email address and the research you choose to save. That is the whole list. Emails from us are limited to sign-in and password resets - no newsletters you didn’t ask for, no marketing.
No advertising trackers run on this site. We do not sell, rent, or share your details with insurers, agents, or anyone else. Nobody calls you because you read a policy here - that promise is the point of the product.
Your data is never used to market any insurance product or to pass your name on as a sales lead - not by us, and not by anyone we give it to, because we give it to no one.
Questions and answers you post in the community are public. Posting anonymously is built in - when you choose it, your name is never shown with the post.
Write to us from your account email via the contact page and we delete your account and its saved research.
India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 gives you the right to know what we hold about you, to correct it, and to have it erased. The contact page is the door for all of it - the same person who runs the site answers, and its grievance section is yours to use too.
