If you use up your entire cover amount during the year, this feature automatically tops it back up so you can make more claims in the same year. Especially valuable for families where multiple members might need hospitalisation in a single year.

Star Health
If you are hospitalised again for the same illness within 45 days of your last consultation, the policy counts it as the same hospitalisation, so the restored cover does not pay that admission.

Aditya Birla
On every plan except NXT, the very first claim in the life of the policy gets no reload. If that first claim is a large one, you pay everything above your base sum insured and accumulated Super Credit from your own pocket.

Care Health
The recharge cannot pay the bill that used up your cover. The policy's single-claim maximum counts your Sum Insured, Cumulative Bonus, Cumulative Bonus Super, Plus Benefit and Unlimited Care, but not the recharge, so one very large hospital stay is still limited to those. Any recharge you do not use is lost at the end of the policy year.
