A 24-month waiting period applies, but it is waived when the treatment is for a congenital internal disease or defect of the unborn. Only the four listed intervention types and thirteen named fetal conditions qualify.

The covered procedures are a closed list - open fetal surgery, fetendo, image-guided surgery and the EXIT procedure, for thirteen named conditions such as twin-twin transfusion syndrome and congenital diaphragmatic hernia. Anything outside that list is not paid. The claim is paid from your main sum insured.
